Auriel joined S&R in 1983 as Administrator of Trillium Retirement Apartments in London.  Coming from a background in home health care, she recognized the benefits of supportive services for seniors in the community and was instrumental in assisting with the opening of new retirement apartment communities in Kitchener, Waterloo and Chatham.

In February 2000, Auriel took over the role as Manager of the S&R Care Home Division and was responsible for the day to day operations, including strategic development and marketing, for 9 retirement residences in Southwestern Ontario

In August 2002, Auriel forged a newly created role as Relationship Specialist.  In her new role she will oversee a team of Human Resource professionals and continue to work within all areas of the corporation with a focus on corporate culture and staff relationship development.
